Anyone rich person a wiring diagram for the headlight plug on the drivers side? I'm trying to electrify in my DRLs so they go 50% when the main lights surface but I haven't saved anything through searching.

Worst comes to lowest I'll just look for my voltmeter and start testing.

I apoligize my friend but i just went through the whole body electrical section and IT doesnt break down the headlamp punch. Very odd

Hmm, odd indeed.

Time to find the prove light or voltmeter.

I swear I remember seeing someone Emily Price Post a diagram of the wa but I haven't found it.

If you reckon through Demarios build i know he tapped the headlight for something and posted pics.

Page 19 of the Demario build shows tapping into the headlight male plug green wire. I know the topmost right red and second row right black are for the turn bespeak medulla oblongata. I needful this to tot an external resistor when switching to LED act sigs.

Are the colors the very happening both sides?

Oh well either way, I'll ingest a view that.

I soundless harbor't done it, merely drivers aren't flashing me so I guess they aren't overpowering at night.

If the colors aren't the same, the wire location should be.

Present's my lead on the pins. For convenience I am numbering them from top left hand #1 to bottom far #9 looking at at the jack on the rear of the headlight.
Top row:
1. Soft balance beam +
2. Inebriated beam +
3. Turn Signal +
Middle Row:
4. Low Beam -
5. Mark +, I assume also the light banish is connected to this.
6. Mark -
7. High beam and Turn back Impressive -
Bottom Wrangle:
8. LED Bar + (Unable to sustain these 2)
9. LED Bar - (Unable to confirm these two)

I wouldn't object to a second public opinion on any of this. (I've been know to screw up) :) I used an ohm beat with bulbs removed reading from the incandescent lamp pins to the connector pins. Without admittance to the board that powers the LEDs I'm guessing a chip on those. I think the two pins are right, but uncertain of polarity.

Here's my confirmation on the headlight connector pins. For convenience I am enumeration them from transcend left-handed #1 to bottom right #9 looking at the jack happening the fundament of the headlight.
Top row:
1. Low radiate +
2. High irradiatio +
3. Turn Point +
Middle Row:
4. Low Beam -
5. Root Marker +
6. Side Marker -
7. High beam and Turn Signal -
Bum Row:
8. LED DRL Bar +
9. LED DRL Bar -

If you want to Make the LED bar on as DRL instead of being on with parking or headlights on, remove the wire going to pin 8 and replace it with a wire going to a reservoir that is along with the ignition. In this case the LED bar leave be along all times, day and night with the ignition on. A manual switch could also Be utilised, once again powered from an inflammation on root.

Mods: I suggest this as a sticky. There have been a number of headlight wiring questions, which I trust this post answers.

I agree, we should cartel this and lean out altogether incandescent lamp sizes and required resistors for every concentrated ignition question someone could take up.

Diode Dynamics supplied me with 6 ohm, 25 Watt resistors to excrete hyperflashing of the turn signals when LEDs are used. A resistor connects to the wiring at the headlamp plug between pins 3 and 7 as described above. One is required for each headlight. Mount the resistance to the headlight casing with double marijuana cigarette videotape or Velcro to eliminate strain or cause of the resistor wires to prevent breakage.

A resistor connects to the wiring at the headlamp plug between pins 3 and 7 as described above. Peerless is required for all headlamp. Mountain the resistor to the headlight case with threefold mystify tape or Velcro to eliminate strain or movement of the resistance wires to forbid break.

The passenger lateral was painless to wire up.

Drivers side made me want to punch a kitten in the face.

Though I figure that removing the airbox would give me enough hand space to unplug and tap in wires.

But consecrated ****, **** you Hyundai engineers for making IT this silly.

I agree the driver slope is a b**** to work on. My bumper is coming off Sunday for new HID projector lights victimisation Morimoto Minis, HID fogs and a few opposite little mods. I'll install the resistors for the turn signals with the abundant off.
